NF Ameublement Brand Deserves It: Episode 14!

The product you have in front of you proudly bears the NF label.

Perfect, but what has it done to get here? A long journey of qualification littered with successive steps, the main one being compliance with a technical reference framework: a list of ruthless standard tests established by FCBA and validated by users.

Do you want to see?

Discover one of the mechanical tests carried out on chairs: seat front edge fatigue.

Test Objective:
Reproduce seat edge stresses.

Test Principle:

A force of 800 N (approximately 80 kg) is applied 10 cm from the front edge of the seat.

This is done alternately on the right and left sides of the seat.

20,000 times.

And this is regardless of the type of seat (sofa, recliner, etc.).

The method used:
It is standardized; it is NF EN 12520.

An NF Ameublement item will withstand this particularly selective test: at the end of this test, no damage should be observed.
