The product in front of you proudly carries the CTB Literie marking.
But what has it done to earn this distinction? A long process of qualification is marked by successive steps, with the main one being compliance with a technical reference framework, a list of rigorous normative tests established by FCBA and validated by users.

Discover one of the laboratory tests conducted on mattresses: the durability of the sleeping surface.
Objective of the test:
To ensure the durability of a mattress's sleeping surface by simulating a person lying down and turning during their sleep.

Principle of the test:
STABILIZATION:
- The mattress is conditioned for one week at 23°C and 50% humidity.

INITIAL MEASUREMENTS:
- First, the mattress undergoes 100 aging cycles using a 140kg roller.

- After 5 hours of rest, the initial height at 50 N and initial hardness are measured.

ACCELERATED AGING:
- The mattress undergoes 29,900 aging cycles using a 140kg roller.

FINAL MEASUREMENTS:
- After 5 hours of rest, the final height at 50 N and final hardness are measured.

In this way, we have two sets of measurements:
- Before aging (initial measurements at 100 cycles)
- After aging (final measurements at 30,000 cycles)

For a mattress to be CTB Literie certified, it must have:
- A hardness modification of less than 18%.
- A height loss of less than 15mm.
Method used:
This method is standardized, following the NF EN 1957.
