Objective of the test:
To simulate a person sitting and leaning back in their chair.
Principle of the test:
- We apply loads (from 32 to 150 kg) in a specific order: first the seat, then the backrest.
- The test is conducted in 5 stages with specific load points.
- Note: In the video, we show stage 2 with load points B and C.
The method used:It is standardized; it's NF EN 1335-3.
As you'll see, each component is put to a tough test... and this is repeated 240,000 times!
